Director of Business Strategy, Games
We are looking for a Director of Business Strategy to join our games division based at our Los Angeles, CA headquarters. Snap Games was launched in April 2019 with the belief that games have the power to deepen our relationships with friends and family.
As an integral member of our new Snap Games team, you will play a leading role in developing and executing our platforms business strategy, and work closely with our Legal, Finance, Accounting, Partnerships, Product / Design, and Monetization teams to ensure that our business and monetization efforts are efficient and successful. A sharp industry veteran with a solid track record of building successful gaming businesses, this leaders knowledge will help ensure that Snap makes the correct decisions at each step of the way, and further establish a long-term sustainable ecosystem for the platform.

What you’ll do:
Identify, develop, and drive commercial and strategic opportunities to support our Snap Games monetization efforts
Structure and negotiate commercial contracts across developers, service providers, strategic partners, and more
Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment
Foster an open, transparent business strategy that keeps stakeholders in the loop
Develop a deep understanding of our customers, developers, and products
Collaborate with our Monetization, Product, and Engineering teams to make sure we are building the best products for our Snap Games business
Monitor competitive activities and identify opportunities for growth
Minimum qualifications:
7+ years of relevant experience in the gaming industry

An experienced strategist used to making tough business decisions
A skilled negotiator
A strong grasp of numbers and models, and utilizing them to make informed decisions that contribute to our goals
Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders to align goals without having to set hard mandates
