We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to accurately enter, update, maintain, and organize information in company databases, spreadsheets, and computer systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update data accurately into databases, spreadsheets, and company systems.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Verify information against source documents and correct errors.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical records.
- Process invoices, forms, applications, reports, orders, and other documents as assigned.
- Perform regular data quality checks and identify missing or incorrect information.
- Maintain accurate customer, employee, inventory, financial, or operational records.
- Retrieve and provide information from databases and files when requested.
- Scan, upload, rename, categorize, and organize documents electronically.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and customer information.
- Communicate with other departments to obtain missing or clarify incorrect information.
- Prepare basic reports, spreadsheets, and summaries.
- Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding data management and document retention.
- Meet established productivity, accuracy, and deadline requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous data entry, administrative, clerical, or office experience preferred.
- Strong typing and computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
