The Data Coordinator will support data analytics tasks, assist in managing data files, and participate in team meetings while learning about media data.
About The Job
As a Data Analytics Coordinator, you will help our core data analytics team deliver actionable data to end-users within the company to guide decisions and derive actionable insight. An ideal candidate would be humble, curious, and proactive in looking for new solutions and in learning new skills. This part-time position is based from our NYC office but is eligible to be fully remote or hybrid.
What You'll Do
- Work to tag and cleanse large data sets and organize performance and benchmark data metrics
- Identify, gather, integrate, and analyze relevant data
- Assist in day-to-day tasks in managing data files, reports, team projects, and ongoing deliverables
- Learn about media data & analytics through working with Barstool content data and the different metrics and variables across a variety of platforms, including social networking, podcasting, etc.
- Attendance and participation in weekly team meetings/statuses
What You Have
- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage multiple project
- Desire to learn and driven to start a career in media and/or data analytics
- Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in G Suite including Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides
- Experience working with data sets, data entry, data cleansing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment – both independently and as part of a team, multi-task and prioritize accordingly
- Robust familiarity with Barstool content, both past and present, as well as a love for the brand is considered a big asset
Pay Rate: $16.50 hourly and this role is not benefits eligible.
