The Data & Commercial Analytics Manager leads analytics for AMIRI, managing a team to drive commercial performance insights and strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives while developing scalable analytics solutions and frameworks.
Purpose and Objective
The Data & Commercial Analytics Manager exists to turn AMIRI’s growing volume of retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and client data into clear, trusted commercial decisions. As the brand scales globally, this role ensures leadership teams have a consistent view of performance, client behavior, and opportunities across channels and regions.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining people management with direct analytical ownership. The role defines KPI frameworks, drives performance storytelling, and leads high-impact commercial analysis that informs merchandising, marketing, and clienteling decisions.
The role supports AMIRI’s transition from ad-hoc reporting to a disciplined analytics operating rhythm, while remaining pragmatic, fast-moving, and closely connected to the business.
Leadership & Operating Model
- Lead the Data & Commercial Analytics function, setting vision, structure, and standards across insight delivery and decision support.
- Own analytics intake, prioritization, and end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, business value, and resource capacity.
- Define and maintain KPI frameworks and performance cadences that provide consistent, executive-level visibility into commercial, digital, and operational performance.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and manage a Senior Data Analyst and BI Analyst, setting clear expectations, priorities, and accountability.
- Establish team standards and best practices for analytics, reporting, data governance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Define goals, performance metrics, and success criteria aligned with organizational and departmental objectives.
Hands-On Analytics & Insights
- Lead high-impact commercial analyses that inform strategic decision-making.
- Drive client-focused analytics and experimentation to optimize digital experiences and commercial performance across luxury touchpoints.
Data, Platform & AI Collaboration
- Design, develop, and lead the evolution of scalable data models and executive-ready dashboards that enable trusted insights across digital, retail, and operations.
- Pilot and implement AI-assisted analytics solutions in a responsible, secure, and brand-appropriate manner, ensuring transparency, governance, and measurable business value.
Stakeholder Partnership & Storytelling
- Serve as the primary analytics partner to business and IT stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Deliver executive-ready insights and narratives that support strategic decision-making while upholding brand standards and data integrity.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data roles, with demonstrated leadership or team-lead exposure.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and modern BI tools, with the ability to design scalable, executive-ready analytics solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience translating data into insights that drive revenue, performance, and decision-making.
- Experience in luxury, premium, or fashion retail environments.
- Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis, automation, or advanced analytics use cases.
- Experience with client, customer, or consumer analytics across digital or omnichannel touchpoints.
