Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist

As a Data Analytics and Reporting Specialist, you will be analyzing complex data sets and generating insightful reports to support business decision-making. You will be required to create reports for support leadership monthly and be prepared to present to the VP of Global Services and Support. In addition, review and report daily and weekly OKR metrics and work closely with our support managers and directors on data validation and decision-making. As the Data Analytics and Reporting Specialist, you'll be at the heart of driving data-informed decisions. This position reports to the Senior Director of Support, Global Operations.  

What you'll do

• Data Collection & Analysis: Data from various Zendesk and Tableau will be gathered, and statistical techniques will be used to analyze it. 
• Reporting: Creating detailed reports and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders. 
• Data Management: Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. 
• Collaboration: Working with support leadership to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights. 
• Problem-Solving: Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business strategies. 

What you'll bring:

• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of data analysis tools like SQL, Python, R, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. 
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. 
• Reporting: Experience in generating detailed and actionable reports. 
• Statistical Analysis: Understanding of statistical methods and their application in business contexts.
• Communication: Strong skills in presenting data findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data reporting and analysis. 
• Collaboration: Working closely with support managers and directors to ensure data accuracy and relevance. 
• Time Management: Efficiently managing multiple tasks and deadlines. 
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills. 
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics. 
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and objectives to align data analysis with strategic goals. 
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work with different teams and adapt to changing business needs. 
• Support Ticketing Platforms: A background in support operations with familiarity with Zendesk or Salesforce is a plus

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $84,000 - $112,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
