Role Description

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Developer to join our growing analytics and operations team. This IC3-level role will play a critical part in building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability, and supporting operational reporting that drives decision-making across GTM teams. This position requires a strong affinity for problem-solving along with deep knowledge of data, data architecture, and analytical tools and approaches.

You will partner closely with Data Engineering, Sales Analytics, RevOps, and Enablement to ensure our data infrastructure and reporting workflows run efficiently, scale effectively, and deliver trusted insights.

Responsibilities

Data Infrastructure & Operations

  • Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines, datamarts, and self-serve platforms using workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) and SQL-based transformations, ensuring scalability and accessibility for analysts and dashboards.
  • Develop thoughtful schema designs aligned with business needs to promote consistency, maintainability, and performance across systems.
  • Ensure data quality and reliability by monitoring pipeline health, troubleshooting failures, implementing fixes, and maintaining timeliness of key reporting.
  • Maintain strong data governance through up-to-date documentation, testing protocols, and compliance standards for critical datasets (e.g., pipeline, forecast, SFDC, compensation).
  • Integrate and maintain Go-to-Market (GTM) systems data, ensuring comprehensive coverage, high integrity, and seamless cross-platform integration.
  • Implement and scale GTM analytics processes (e.g., daily reporting, NLP models) and support adoption of platforms like UnitQ to continuously monitor and leverage customer feedback data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales Ops, RevOps, and Enablement teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Participate in agile rituals (standups, retros) and help prioritize fixes or improvements in response to user feedback or system changes.
  • Partner with other analysts and engineers to learn best practices and improve overall team velocity and data maturity.
  • Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to ensure the data meets end-user needs and reflects business logic accurately.
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in a data-focused role (e.g., data analyst, analytics engineer, data ops, business intelligence)
  • Expertise in SQL and working with modern data warehouses (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake)
  • Proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, Databricks Workflows)
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, schema design, and data governance
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, good code management practices, and version control systems (e.g. git)
  • Familiarity with CRM or GTM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Forma)
  • Ability to tackle complex technical problems with little direction, willing to quickly learn and understand new technologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset
  • Desire to grow into a strategic data partner and own end-to-end workflows
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Superset)
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
