We are seeking a Customer Success Engineer (CSE) as a founding member of the Luminary customer success team! You will work closely with our customers and internal teams to ensure our customer has the best experience running simulations on our platform. You enjoy building meaningful relationships and are willing to go above and beyond for the customers.


You Will Work On:

  • As a founding member of the customer success team, you will help set the foundation of the team and build the customer success playbooks to grow and support our customers. 
  • You will gain a deep knowledge of customers’ Physics AI use cases to provide a tailored solution with a unique value prop to support those workloads on the Luminary platform.
  • You will develop user training programs to train and onboard new users to drive adoption. 
  • You will be the customer champion and voice of the customers within Luminary.
  • You will run customer quarterly business reviews (QBR) and office hours to drive alignment.
  • You will collaborate with Product Management and Design to collect customer feedback to improve the Luminary cloud platform and the customer experience using our product.
  • You will collaborate with Technical Support and oversee support escalations and incident management. 
  • You are a Luminary evangelizer attending and presenting at industry conferences and events. 


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master’s in Mechanical or Aerospace preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience working in Technical Support, Application Engineering, Customer Success Engineering, Professional Service, or similar functions in engineering. 
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial or open-source simulation software a plus
  • Familiarity with GCP/AWS ecosystems a plus
  • You are an AI first engineer who is comfortable prototyping applications using Claude/Codex/Cursor
  • You enjoy solving complex problems, strive to find the best solutions, and use empathy to approach customer solutions.
  • You have an outgoing personality, a customer-obsession attitude, and are willing to deep dive. Customer obsession is your top priority. 
  • You are a strong public speaker who can present highly technical topics in an easy-to-understand manner. 
  • You prefer to work in a dynamic startup environment to fast-track your career and grow your responsibilities.
  • Up to 10% domestic travel.
