The Customer Marketing, Sr. Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that maximize customer engagement, cross-sell, referrals, customer satisfaction, and revenue throughout the entire customer journey. This position requires a strong understanding of customer behavior, as well as the ability to leverage marketing automation tools to create personalized experiences at scale. You’ll develop and launch new experiments: You’ll work closely with your product, product marketing, events, and content marketing counterparts to develop and launch new experiments to drive revenue from existing customers. You’ll help define audiences and behavioral triggers, help create multi-channel campaigns and report on the results.
This will be a cross-functional role, working closely with our customer success, product marketer, and events. Responsible for new customer activation, retention and growth.

  • Develop and execute customer marketing strategies that increase customer engagement, cross-sell opportunities, referrals, product satisfaction, and increased renewal revenue. 

  • Optimize performance: You’ll constantly find new opportunities from the data and qualitative signals to optimize our cross-sell and upsell machine. 

  • Create and manage customer segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize the customer journey. 

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, webinars, triggered messages, events and more to engage customers across multiple channels. 

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and ROI. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer success, website, events, product, design, and analytics leads to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive customer account revenue. 

  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences and needs to inform marketing strategy.

  • Develop and maintain a testing and experimentation framework to continuously improve campaign performance and customer experience. 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.  

  • A hacker’s mentality. You obsess over finding novel ways to drive revenue and eke out as much yield as possible from a given funnel. We place a big emphasis on creativity. 

  • 4-6 years of experience in product, marketing, growth, business operations, or consulting, with at least 1 year on high-consideration B2B SaaS products. You can quickly use data, qualitative insights, and your understanding of our product and buyer to develop and prioritize an experiment roadmap. 

  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills. You have an eye for good email, landing page, and ad copy, and know how to get in the heads of our customers. This is not a writing role, but you will be expected to produce your own campaigns and work with content marketing for copy needs. 

  • Willing to roll up your sleeves. You will launch campaigns from end to end and monitor performance. 

  • Taking the initiative is second nature to you. Without prompting, you’ll dive deep into quantitative and qualitative signals throughout the funnel to find challenges and solutions. 

  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and segmentation 

  • Experience with commercial automation tools, such as Pardot, Salesforce, and Gong. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions. 

  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation. 

  • Experience with landing page and email creation.  

  • Experience drafting campaign briefs. 

"Compensation:
For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $80,000.00 - $105,600.00
For other California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $73,500.00 - $96,800.00
For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $70,000.00 - $92,400.00
For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $73,500.00 - $96,800.00
For other Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $70,000.00 - $92,400.00
For New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $80,000.00 - $105,600.00
For other New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $66,750.00 - $88,000.00
For Washington based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $73,500.00 - $96,800.00
