We’re looking for a passionate, driven, and mission-aligned Curriculum Product Manager to join Subject’s fast-moving Product team. This role will be responsible for bringing our high school and middle school courses to life—delivering experiences that are academically rigorous, culturally relevant, and deeply engaging for students.
You’ll lead the planning, execution, and delivery of new curriculum across a variety of subjects, ensuring every detail is handled with care. This is a hands-on role that blends instructional design, content production, digital pedagogy, and agile project management to deliver exceptional learning experiences at scale. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team working in service of one goal: to empower students everywhere to learn, grow, and thrive.
The right candidate will have a track record of delivering high-quality curriculum products, experience working with instructional designers, writers, and media teams, and an uncompromising standard for academic excellence and learner engagement. You’ll be responsible for hitting deadlines, setting the bar for quality, and ensuring every course we ship helps students succeed.

Responsibilities
Own the Course Build Lifecycle: Lead the day-to-day development of Subject’s high school and middle school courses from scoping to final launch.
Drive Quality and Rigor: Ensure curriculum meets high standards for clarity, engagement, equity, and academic alignment.
Project Manage with Precision: Build and manage project plans, timelines, and workflows across instructional design, video production, and content engineering.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with subject matter experts, designers, producers, engineers, and the leadership to build exceptional courses.
Champion the Student Experience: Advocate for content that is relevant, inclusive, and energizing for learners from all backgrounds.
Deliver at Speed: Operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with urgency, accountability, and a bias toward action.
Continuously Improve: Review performance data and qualitative feedback to guide iteration and future improvements.
Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, program management, or digital education.
Proven ability to deliver large-scale curriculum projects on time with a high level of polish and impact.
Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to craft.
Comfort navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems with limited resources.
Strong understanding of digital pedagogy, student engagement strategies, and instructional best practices.
Deep empathy for students and belief in the power of great teaching and content to change lives.
Experience in a fast-paced startup, media, or edtech environment strongly preferred.
