POSITION: CSI Physical Security Risk Manager
DEPARTMENT: Community Security Initiative
EXEMPT / NON-UNION
SALARY: $80,000 - $85,000
TIME LIMITED: 12/31/2026 (extension depending upon 3 year grant funding)

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Reporting to the CSI Director of Physical Security and Risk, the CSI Physical Security Risk Manager will assist in managing the CSI site visit and physical security vulnerability assessment program, and program management of CSI special projects. Additionally, the CSI Physical Security Risk Manager will assist with CSI’s Community Outreach Program.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
•Assist with managing day-to-day operations of CSI’s Site Visit/Vulnerability Assessment program.
•Identify, schedule, and conduct CSI Site Visits/Vulnerability Assessments of Jewish institutions throughout geographic catchment area and produce security assessment reports.
•Prepare and complete detailed written security vulnerability assessment reports of Jewish institutions.
•Assist with conducting threat analysis evaluation of Jewish institutions for staff prior to CSI Site Visits.
•Serve as liaison with local/state/federal law enforcement to share information, intelligence, and security best practices as assigned.
•Conduct community outreach to CSI partner leadership, staff, and volunteers to share information, intelligence, and security best practices as assigned.
•Manage CSI special projects program on development of new systems and processes to address gaps in physical security.
•Utilize CSI Database and case management system to carry out appropriate program-related duties.
•Stand duty as off-hour CSI Duty Officer several days a month as assigned, taking incident reports, answering client inquiries, and assessing risk intelligence alerts.
•Assist in the planning and logistics of CSI training, intelligence briefings, and special events as needed.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Other duties may be assigned by supervisor, including various administrative duties, or assisting with the campaign. Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Security and/or Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or equivalent military/professional security and/or emergency management experience.
•Knowledge of institutional safety and security practices.
•Minimum 5+ years’ professional experience in security operations management, training analysis, and safety plan protocols.
•Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification preferred.
•Excellent time management, communication, strong technical writing, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills required.
•Ability to engage effectively with diverse community stakeholders.
•Must possess advanced skills and experience in collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce notifications, assessments, and reports.
•Must be a problem-solver, flexible, and comfortable functioning in high-pressure environments.
•A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and related platforms.
•Experience with investigative and risk management tools desired.
•A hybrid work model will be implemented for certain positions. This position must report to worksite on non-remote workdays, as determined by the Federation.
