Manage CSI site visit and physical security vulnerability assessment program, conduct and report assessments, perform threat analysis, liaise with law enforcement, run community outreach, manage special projects, maintain CSI database, and serve as off-hour duty officer as assigned.

Support the Senior Director to develop and implement CJIN programs, convene and collaborate with social service partners, lead program evaluation efforts, staff committees and task forces, research trends and best practices, and coordinate communications and donor reporting. Assist with campaign and other assignments as needed.

Provide administrative, secretarial, and project support for the Community Security Initiative: maintain databases, coordinate meetings and events, vet participants, manage budgets and purchases, create promotional materials, support vendors, calendars, and assist multiple departments as needed, including event availability outside normal hours.

Lead Israel education initiatives and educator engagement, oversee the Holy Land Democracy Project, design curricula and trainings, recruit and sustain educator cohorts, develop alternative immersive experiences, manage logistics and partnerships, measure program impact, and support broader community engagement and advocacy efforts.

Monitor, collect, analyze, and disseminate regional threat intelligence related to the Jewish community in Northern California. Produce briefings and actionable intelligence, perform OSINT and social media monitoring, conduct in-depth regional security research, maintain case records in case-management platforms, and liaise with local, national, and international communal security partners.

Manage and grow community engagement for families with children 0-18 months through one-on-one outreach, facilitated playgroups, events, partner coordination, and storytelling. Track participation in Blackbaud, assist with strategic planning, grant writing, marketing and reporting, monitor program expenses, and represent the program at community offerings and immersive experiences. Requires flexible schedule, local travel, and relationship-building to expand PJ Library participation and meaningful Jewish connections.

Manage month-end and year-end close, maintain and reconcile the general ledger, oversee accounts payable and payroll backup, review financial statements, ensure GAAP/ASC 606 compliance for nonprofit revenue, prepare audit workpapers, lead and coach accounting staff, and support process improvements and system implementations.

Process and reconcile high-volume credit card and cash donations, maintain daily logs and reports, investigate discrepancies, perform data entry, assist with DMS/DRIVE system tasks, file and purge deposit records, and provide backup support during peak campaigns.

Assist the Controller managing accounting functions including accounts payable, pledge and donated securities accounting, payroll backup, month-end close, GAAP financial statements and disclosures, pension and tax audit support, regulatory filings, endowment tracking, balance sheet analysis, and process automation initiatives.
