Job summary 

As a Credit Support Analyst Credit Coordinator in Commercial Solutions Credit, you serve as a liaison across internal and external partners to coordinate tasks required to document and close complex commercial loans. You will drive due diligence collection, documentation readiness, and issue resolution to help ensure loans close in accordance with approved terms.

  • Serve as the primary coordinator for commercial loan transactions, aligning tasks and timelines needed to document and close loans.
  • Partner with relationship and credit stakeholders to progress new, renewal, and modification requests from approval through closing.
  • Review credit approvals and confirm required conditions are satisfied prior to closing.
  • Coordinate collection and validation of due diligence, including entity and organizational documentation and good-standing evidence.
  • Order, obtain, and review third-party reports as needed (such as title work, surveys, appraisals, environmental reports, and flood determinations).
  • Review search results and filings, including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) searches, as required.
  • Evaluate received documentation and reports to help confirm collateral requirements and closing conditions are met.
  • Identify, escalate, and manage documentation and vendor-related risks; track issues through resolution.
  • Review loan documentation packages for alignment to approved terms and required collateral position.
  • Communicate with clients as directed by the banker managing the client relationship.
  • Maintain strong organization and responsiveness while managing a high-volume pipeline with multiple concurrent deadlines.

  • Knowledge of commercial loan products and the business loan sales and underwriting process.
  • Experience supporting documentation and closing activities for complex commercial loans.
  • Demonstrated ability to review commercial loan documentation and identify gaps versus approved terms.
  • Understanding of due diligence practices for entity review and collateral verification.
  • Strong working knowledge of laws and regulations impacting due diligence, documentation, and collateral perfection.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to research and apply sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism when engaging partners and clients.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to perform consistently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 1+ years of compliance-related experience, including flood insurance requirements.
  • Experience with commercial real estate title work, surveys, and construction-related lending documentation.
  • College degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience.
