A Day in the Life
The Credit Executive II Under the direction of the Sr Credit Manager, the Credit Executive II will review credit applications, analyze relevant credit information, and structure requests to obtain final loan approval. Credit Executive II is also responsible for preparing memorandums and credit analysis through the loan approval process with timely and accurate due diligence. The credit executive II is also responsible for coaching and mentoring other SBA Credit Underwriters. Some travel may be required.

What You’ll Be Doing
Review initial loan application packages from Sales to determine eligibility and additional required documentation.
Structure loan package to fit within minimum requirements of products available
Have knowledge of Business and Personal Tax Returns, Interim Financials, Bank Statements etc.
Decision loan files (decline, suspend, or submit for approval).
Run all background checks for business and merchants.
Review 3rd party reports (Credit report, Business Experian, CAIVRS etc.).
Sets-up calls and discusses file with client (initial interview).
Review completed file for underwriting. Ensure all information is received prior to underwriting.
Underwrite the transaction and prepare package for third party approval.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient and effective operation of the department and that help to make Lendistry the best place to work!
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience and in-depth understanding of SBA, Commercial C&I and real estate financing, and closing, procedures.
Expert knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedures.
Minimum bachelor’s degree. Finance, accounting, or Business Administration focus is preferred.
Ability to manage and underwrite complex transactions with limited guidance
Strong knowledge of financial services.
Outstanding communication and relationship management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced computer proficiency.
Ability to travel, work flexible schedules, and cover different locations, if requested.
Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.
Attain customer satisfaction.
Ability to structure and analyze complex commercial credit transactions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sophisticated word processing and computer database skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and banking operations and regulations.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.
Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines, including extended work hours.

Compensation Range
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$150,000 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors like job-related skills, experience, and state of residence. Physical Requirements
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
