The Opportunity

dot.cards is building one of the most effective creator-led growth engines in consumer tech. We’ve shipped millions of devices, built a 1.6M+ user base, and are now scaling a creator system producing 1,000+ videos per week (and scaling rapidly) across TikTok Shop, Meta, and Shopify. This role owns that engine.

You’ll recruit, activate, and scale a network of creators that directly drives revenue. Not just managing creators — building a repeatable system that turns content into consistent growth. If you’ve ever wanted to run a high-output creator program where performance actually matters, this is that role.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days:

  • Increase weekly creator output (posts/week)

  • Identify and double down on top-performing creators

  • Improve conversion rates across TikTok Shop content

  • Build repeatable onboarding + engagement systems

Longer term:

  • Turn creator content into a predictable revenue channel

  • Develop top creators into long-term partners

  • Help shape how content feeds into paid ads and product launches

What You’ll Do
  • Recruit and activate creators who consistently produce converting content

  • Build relationships that keep top creators posting weekly

  • Run and grow our creator community (Discord)

  • Manage TikTok Shop affiliate program and performance

  • Identify top performers and find ways to deepen those partnerships through better incentives, early access to new products, and featured placement

  • Handle contracts and content usage rights across the creator network

Who You Are
  • You’ve personally scaled a creator or affiliate program (not just supported one)

  • 2–4+ years managing creator, influencer, or affiliate programs at a DTC or consumer brand

  • TikTok native — you get the platform, the algorithm, and what motivates creators

  • Comfortable running a community (Discord, WhatsApp, Slack) and keeping it alive

  • Organized mindset and capable of managing dozens of relationships, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously

  • A natural relationship builder who creators actually want to work with

  • You move fast, test constantly, and are comfortable operating without perfect structure

  • Bonus if you’ve worked with TikTok Shop or have managed creator output at scale (100+ creators / week)

Why This Role

You’re not joining a massive marketing team where you’ll own a slice. You’re building a function from the ground up at a company with a product people genuinely love. New products are launching every quarter, which means fresh content opportunities constantly. The work you do will have a direct, measurable impact on revenue. And if you crush it, this grows into a team lead role as we build out the marketing department.

Details
  • $70,000 – $95,000 base + performance bonus tied to program growth

  • Los Angeles preferred (Culver City office) — open to remote for the right person

  • Reports directly to the CEO

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
