We're looking for a performance creative strategist to execute the creative roadmap alongside our lead strategist — writing briefs, running performance reads, and owning persona research across 2–3 personas.
About the Role
You'll work closely with our lead strategist across the full creative cycle: research, briefing, and performance analysis. You'll inherit a working system and a clear playbook, with the opportunity to take on greater ownership and grow into a senior strategist role as you build your track record.
Key Responsibilities
Brief Production: Write 8–12 briefs per week, each tied to a hypothesis; move briefs from kickoff to v1 in under 72 hours
Performance Reading: Run weekly performance reads — pull the dashboard, identify winners and losers, write the one-page retro; deliver every Monday without being chased
Persona Research: Own research for 2–3 personas (Reddit, reviews, support tickets); build the language bank the team uses in their briefs
Creative Team Partnership: Brief, review v1, give feedback, ship — be the creative team's primary point of contact for execution
Roadmap Co-ownership: Plan the next 4 weeks of tests with the lead strategist; support priorities with data
Playbook Documentation: Document every winning hook, format, and angle in Notion so the next hire ramps faster
Qualifications
Experience:
2–4 years in performance creative or creative strategy at a DTC or growth-stage company
Shipped at least one concept that scaled to $20K+/month — and can walk through exactly why it worked
At least one round of structured customer research
Skills:
Read paid social data fluently — CTR, CPA, hook rate, hold rate
Write briefs designers can act on without follow-up questions
Independently identified at least one winning hook
Mindset:
Thrives in a high-output environment and wants to develop quickly
