About Clouted

Clouted (fka Clout Kitchen) is The Virality Engine for brands, startups, artists, and creators. Generating over 300M+ views/monthly for our clients, we are a team of experts in viral strategies, distribution, and marketing campaigns. We cook up some cool stuff — check out our website for more information.

We operate at the intersection of technology and entertainment, backed by top global VCs including a16z, Peak XV, and AppWorks. Our focus is building products and systems that automate strategy and operations for mass content distribution. We partner with leading artists, festivals, creators, and brands across the US and Asia.

About The Role

We are hiring an Account Strategist to deliver S-tier strategy across Clouted's client accounts. This is a senior, client-facing role: you own the strategic arc of an account end-to-end - from winning proposals, to overseeing execution, to communicating reporting and data back to the client. You'll be the strategic partner our clients trust and the connective tissue between what we sell and what we deliver.

This is for a seasoned strategist who has lived in client strategy and campaigns, thinks in systems, and can turn a client's growth goal into a concrete, measurable distribution plan.

What You'll Own

1. Account Strategy & Client Leadership

- Own the strategic direction for your book of client accounts across clipping, fan pages, UGC, and paid.

- Serve as the senior strategic point of contact — the person clients look to for the plan and the "why."

- Translate each client's growth goals into a concrete, measurable distribution strategy.

2. Proposals & Pitches

- Build S-tier strategy proposals, pitch decks, and scopes that win and expand accounts.

- Partner with commercial/BD on pricing, deliverables, and KPIs.

3. Execution Oversight

- Oversee campaign execution across creative and ops, ensuring delivery stays true to the strategy.

- Steer in-flight adjustments when performance data calls for it.

4. Reporting & Data Communication

- Own the reporting narrative to clients — turn performance data into a clear, compelling story of impact.

- Define success metrics and reporting frameworks per account.

What Success Looks Like

- Proposals convert and accounts grow — clients renew and expand.

- Campaigns are executed in line with strategy and hit or exceed KPIs.

- Clients see Clouted as a strategic partner, not a vendor.

- Reporting is clear, credible, and consistently tied to client outcomes.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You…

- Have a strong background in client strategy, account leadership, or campaign strategy.

- Move fluidly between high-level strategy and hands-on oversight.

- Are an excellent communicator — you can present, defend, and sell strategy to clients.

- Are data-literate and can build a measurement story around a campaign.

- Have deep fluency in short-form, creator economy, and platform dynamics.

Requirements

- 5-7+ years in account/client strategy, growth, or campaign strategy - agency, creator-economy, or high-growth startup.

- Proven track record leading client accounts and designing campaigns that drove measurable results.

- Excellent communication and deck-building skills. - Has a deep understanding of marketing campaigns, social media strategy, and how brands, artists, and creators grow in 2026.

- Experience in music, gaming, or entertainment is strongly preferred.

What We Offer

- Unlimited PTO

- Work with top-tier clients across music, gaming, and entertainment

- Fast-moving environment with real ownership and growth opportunities

- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options

- Equity ownership through ESOP grants

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
