US-Remote | $75K–$90K + benefits

We’re building the best YouTube agency in the world.

We’ve assembled a crazy-talented group of YouTube minds who’ve collectively generated over 110 billion views and helped shape how the platform works today.

Our founder, Ryan Hashemi, built Jubilee to 14 million subscribers, earned 4 Emmy nominations, and even trained the person who now runs MrBeast’s studio. Our team comes from places like WIRED, Vogue, Mini Katana (18M+ subs), and other iconic YouTube brands. [Learn more about Ryan’s journey here!]

Now we’re helping the world’s biggest brands crack the code on YouTube — and make content people actually want to watch, at scale.

Why This Role Matters

Beyond crushing YouTube content strategy for our brand partners, Snowball gets to do something really special: we help build the YouTube discipline inside these brands from the ground up. That means finding and signing the creative producers, video directors, and editors who will define what organic storytelling looks like for them on YouTube.

And just as importantly, we have the pleasure of landing incredible creatives their dream jobs at brands where they can truly do their best work.

As a Creative Recruiter at Snowball, you’ll build the dream teams that power groundbreaking YouTube content for our clients.

What You’ll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruitment for creative roles: video producers, editors, heads of video, and other YouTube-native storytellers.

  • Get creative with sourcing. LinkedIn is great, but you’re also hunting on Discord, Instagram, film schools, and niche creative communities.

  • Evaluate portfolios like a creative director. You can spot unique creative sensibilities and raw potential. And you won’t get seduced by beautiful visuals alone because you know the difference between pretty and good storytelling.

  • Partner with leadership and clients to scope roles, define what “great” looks like, and make sure we’re bringing on exceptional creative talent every single time.

  • Build and maintain Snowball’s creative talent bench.

  • Be the face of Snowball to hundreds of top creatives.

Who You Are
  • 4+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in creative, production, or media environments.

  • Deep understanding of production, new media and YouTube, with the ability to talk the talk with creatives. Bonus points: You’ve worked in production yourself or have a film-school background.

  • Experience with Ashby ATS (or similar systems).

  • Comfortable juggling multiple client relationships and competing creative pipelines without dropping the ball.

  • Obsessed with culture, content, and people. Genuine excitement to help build the team that’s redefining YouTube.

What We Offer
  • Health and vision benefits

  • Remote-first with flexible hybrid options

  • 4 weeks PTO

  • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing creative company

  • Direct mentorship from Snowball’s creative leadership

  • A+ team culture rooted in clarity, creativity, and overdelivering for clients

Our Values
  • Work hard, learn harder

  • Be effectively proactive

  • Overdeliver for clients

  • Be kind by being clear

  • A+ players only

Resumes are cool, but we’d love to see something creative that shows us who you are!

In your application, tell us:

  1. What makes you the right person to help us build the future of YouTube hiring?

  2. Walk us through the hardest creative role you’ve ever filled. What made it difficult, and how did you crack it?

  3. Where do you find the best creative talent that others miss? Share a sourcing strategy you’re proud of.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
