Position Summary

The Creative Manager will work cross departmentally to ensure that the execution of our ad campaigns are meticulously shepherded in effort to help our client’s campaigns shine. The Manager is responsible for helping to lead cross channel campaign activation while simultaneously serving as a seasoned point of contact for clients, vendors, internal collaborators and creative stakeholders.

A successful candidate will be an invaluable member of our team who is relentless in championing our client’s interests. They will be highly organized in their ability to manage campaign changes, receive and distribute creative assets and manage the execution thereof. They will help us navigate the ‘grey areas’ of campaign activation and also help us all to be world class hurdlers of any logistical obstacles that challenge successful campaign launch. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees flawless execution of all ad campaigns in concert with Partnerships team.
  • Acts as a point of escalation between the media agency, vendors, media client and external creative teams for campaign execution across digital campaigns.
  • Responsible for the preparation of campaign specific creative deliverables (e.g. specs, timelines, creative reference decks, etc.) for all asset needs for clients, creative producers and internal stakeholders. 
  • Works cross departmentally to ensure client strategies are woven into creative execution by reviewing briefs and working with craft leads to incorporate production considerations into client recommendations.
  • Delivers recommendations in a clear and concise manner, providing informed POVs needed for client and internal teams to make the best possible decisions concerning all media activations.
  • Creates and updates campaign status documents for internal teams/clients communicating progress and any issue tracking updates.
  • Collaborating with other crafts for refining of our execution approach. Serves as a key contributor in continuously identifying opportunities for collaboration and streamlining of workflow procedures.
  • Building positive connections with our vendor counterparts to help foster goodwill and strong partnerships that benefit our overall agency relationships as well as client interests.
  • Maintaining in market ad product knowledge by keeping current with industry developments and creating opportunities for knowledge sharing.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of project management experience within either media or creative services.
  • Experience working within an advertising agency environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple ad campaigns from inception to completion.
  • Above average understanding of ad trafficking, creative formats / file types and creative troubleshooting best practices.
  • Ability to analyze vendor media proposals and other comms to translate them into creative deliverable details and assist in timeline building. 
  • Well-organized, detail oriented, ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, detail-oriented, energetic, can work as a team or independently and responsive to feedback.
  • Ability to thrive, effectively prioritize and also set priorities at the team level as competing responsibilities present themselves.
  • Proficiency with Google Doc and Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn new internal project management tools and systems.

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
