Keeper is hiring a detail-oriented Creative Localization Specialist to manage the localization of global creative assets across multiple languages and design platforms. This is a 100% remote position from select locations, with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the Chicago, IL metro area.

About the Role

As a Creative Localization Specialist, you will adapt existing creative assets into multiple languages and formats while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Keeper’s brand and design standards. Reporting to the Director of Localization, you will work closely with the design team and Head of Product Design to manage localization workflows, resolve design challenges, and deliver polished assets across print, digital, and motion formats.

Responsibilities

  • Localize creative assets in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily, but not limited to InDesign and AfterEffects), Figma, and motion graphics files for 16+ target languages
  • Manage design localization workflows by submitting translation requests through Smartling and applying completed translations to Figma and other design files
  • Adapt layouts, spacing, formatting, and visual elements to accommodate language-specific text expansion and contraction
  • Maintain consistency in terminology, brand guidelines, formatting, and design standards across localized assets
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to confirm accuracy, formatting, visual integrity, and overall design quality
  • Support the localization of digital, print, presentation, video, and other creative materials
  • Manage localization workflows, timelines, file handoffs, and deliverables across multiple languages and file types
  • Collaborate with the Director of Localization, translation team, designers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve localization challenges
  • Maintain organized asset libraries, file naming conventions, version control, and final deliverables
  • Track project status and communicate updates, risks, and outstanding needs to relevant stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvements to localization processes, templates, and production workflows
  • Participate in special projects for the Localization, Design, and Product Design teams

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in creative production, localization, graphic design, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Figma
  • Basic understanding of motion graphics tools, such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms
  • Experience working with localization workflows and multilingual design best practices
  • Ability to work accurately with translated content across multiple languages
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, spacing, formatting, and visual design principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and file types simultaneously
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work effectively autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Localization, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with localization management platforms or computer-assisted translation tools
  • Familiarity with right-to-left language considerations
  • Knowledge of design-to-code handoff processes
  • Experience working in a SaaS, technology, cybersecurity, or global organization
  • Experience supporting video, motion graphics, or multimedia localization

5. International Transfers

Your data may be accessed by Keeper entities globally as needed for the purposes of hiring and decision making. We protect any such data transfer between Keeper entities using appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection laws.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards.

7. Retention

We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.

Exceptions:

  • You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention)
  • You're hired (transfers to employee records)

8. Your Rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your data, subject to applicable law and retention requirements
  • Object to or restrict processing
