About the Role:

The Creative Director will define and lead how Cantina shows up in the world across every touchpoint. This role owns the visual and narrative expression of the brand, ensuring consistency, originality, and excellence across digital, physical, and experiential channels. The ideal candidate is both a visionary and a maker, personally fluent in copywriting, graphic design, motion graphics, video editing, 3D, and physical production. They are equally energized by building high impact campaigns and refining foundational brand systems, and they know how to connect great creative work to clear strategic and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and lead a high performing internal creative services organization capable of delivering a high volume of high quality work across marketing, product, sales, and executive needs

  • Oversee and scale workflows, resourcing, and prioritization to support everything from rapid turnaround internal assets to major brand campaigns

  • Manage and direct external agencies, production partners, and freelance talent, ensuring all external creative output meets Cantina’s brand standards and strategic objectives

  • Own and evolve Cantina’s brand identity across all channels including social, paid media, broadcast, print, OOO, web, events, and physical environments

  • Concept and lead integrated creative campaigns from idea through execution, partnering with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to ensure strategic alignment

  • Personally contribute to creative work across mediums including copy, visual design, motion, video, and 3D when needed

  • Build and maintain scalable brand systems such as templates, guidelines, toolkits, and internal assets to ensure quality and consistency across the organization

  • Present creative strategy and work to executive leadership, clearly articulating the business impact and strategic value of design and storytelling

What You’ll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in brand and creative leadership roles, with a portfolio that spans digital, physical, and campaign work

  • Demonstrated hands on proficiency in copywriting, graphic design, motion graphics, video editing, and 3D or experiential design

  • Deep understanding of how creative performs across marketing channels including social, performance ads, broadcast, print, OOO, and experiential

  • Experience managing and mentoring creative teams while maintaining a high personal bar for craft and detail

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to translate creative excellence into measurable brand and business value

  • Travel up to 10% of the time

Compensation:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is between $160,000-$230,000. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
