Objective
To produce high-quality, business-focused yet creatively engaging written content for a weekly newsletter, thought leadership pieces, related social media posts, and blogs. The goal is to grow an audience within the luxury interior design industry while maintaining the client’s unique voice and authority.
Profile Overview
The client seeks a business-savvy writer with strong creative instincts. The ideal candidate is skilled at interpreting industry trends—similar to the approach of the Wall Street Journal—and can translate these insights into compelling, easily digestible content for a creative audience. Familiarity with the interior design or luxury lifestyle space is preferred.
Scope
- Commitment: 10 hours/week
- Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend long-term
Responsibilities
- Draft a weekly newsletter on business topics within the interior design industry.
- Conduct research on trends, history, and relevant case studies.
- Collaborate via Zoom calls for content ideation and interviews.
- Write 4–6 weekly social media posts tied to newsletter themes.
- Adjust tone and style to align with the client's established brand personality.
- Potentially contribute to blog content for the client’s main brand.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in business writing with the ability to interpret and analyze market trends.
- Strong creative writing skills to engage a visually and artistically inclined audience.
- Knowledge/interest in interior design, architecture, or luxury goods preferred.
- Excellent research and interviewing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet weekly deadlines.
