Description

Ontario, CA | Toyota | Courtesy vehicle | Loaner coordinator | Rental program | Part-time | Morning shift | Inland Empire | Southern California | Veterans encouraged to apply | $20/hr

IS THIS YOU?

• You're organized, calm under pressure, and thrive in a fast-moving morning environment -- you can process guests quickly and accurately without making anyone feel rushed

• You have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, and you're comfortable moving vehicles carefully and efficiently in a busy dealership environment

• You're looking for a consistent part-time role with early morning hours and a strong Saturday where your reliability directly improves the guest experience at one of the Inland Empire's highest-volume Toyota stores

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Crown Toyota services 200-300 vehicles every day. With that volume comes a high-demand loaner and rental program that is central to the guest experience -- and to our CSI scores. The Courtesy Vehicle Coordinator is a critical part-time role that ensures guests are placed in a loaner vehicle quickly and professionally, covering the morning rush, lunch coverage, and days off so the program never falls behind.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Process loaner and courtesy vehicle check-outs and check-ins efficiently during the morning rush -- ensuring guests are placed in vehicles quickly, accurately, and with a professional first impression

• Complete all rental and loaner agreements accurately -- verifying driver information, documenting vehicle condition, and ensuring all paperwork is complete before the guest drives off

• Coordinate loaner vehicle availability -- tracking fleet status, return times, and availability to minimize guest wait times

• Stage, inspect, and prepare courtesy vehicles for outgoing guests -- ensuring each vehicle is clean, fueled, and ready

• Provide coverage during lunch periods and days off for the primary coordinator -- maintaining continuity so the program runs without gaps

• Communicate proactively with service advisors on loaner availability and guest priority

• Represent Crown Toyota's hospitality standard in every guest interaction -- the loaner experience is often a guest's first impression of how we treat people when something goes wrong with their vehicle

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required

• Organized and accurate under the pace of a high-volume morning rush -- able to process multiple guests efficiently without sacrificing accuracy or professionalism

• Clear, calm communicator -- guests dropping off their vehicle for service are often stressed, and the loaner experience sets the tone for their entire service visit

• Reliable and punctual -- the 6:30 AM start time is critical and the team depends on you being there

• Prior rental car, loaner coordination, or guest-facing hospitality experience a plus -- not required

• Comfortable with basic computer systems and paperwork -- loaner agreements need to be completed accurately every time

WHAT WE OFFER

• $20/hr

• A consistent part-time schedule -- Mon-Fri 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM and Saturday 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM

• A role with direct, visible impact -- your work reduces guest wait times and improves CSI scores at one of the Inland Empire's highest-volume Toyota stores

• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

• A team environment where your reliability is genuinely valued and noticed

WHY CROWN TOYOTA

• 200-300 vehicles a day means the loaner program is one of the busiest and most guest-visible operations in the store -- the Courtesy Vehicle Coordinator who runs it well makes a real and measurable difference in how guests experience their service visit

• A consistent, predictable part-time schedule -- early morning hours that work well alongside other commitments

• Crown Toyota is a high-volume, well-established store in the heart of the Inland Empire -- a professional, active environment where your contributions are visible

• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

• Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- apply to every guest interaction, including the one that starts with handing someone a loaner key

If you're organized, reliable, and ready to be the person who makes Crown Toyota's morning rush run smoothly for guests who are counting on a fast, professional experience -- we'd like to meet you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
