Corporate Quality Manager

Job Overview:

JOB SUMMARY

The Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Primoris Renewable Energy's (PRE) Quality Management Program. This role serves as a key liaison between Quality, Pre-Construction, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

The Corporate Quality Manager will focus heavily on establishing standardized quality processes, supporting quality planning during project pursuit and development, improving engineering and design quality controls, and driving consistency across utility-scale solar, battery energy storage (BESS), transmission, and related renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate combines strong quality management expertise with EPC project execution experience and a proactive, collaborative approach to organizational improvement.

KEY REPONSIBILITIES

Quality Management Program Development

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of PRE's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop and standardize quality policies, procedures, work processes, templates, and quality control documentation.
• Help establish company-wide quality standards and performance expectations.
• Assist in the implementation of quality initiatives that improve project outcomes, reduce rework, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Support quality-related continuous improvement programs across the organization.

Pre-Construction Support

• Partner with Business Development, Estimating, Engineering, and Project Development teams during project pursuits.
• Review owner specifications, contract requirements, and quality obligations during bid and proposal phases.
• Assist in identifying project-specific quality risks and mitigation strategies.
• Support development of project quality plans and quality deliverables prior to construction mobilization.
• Participate in project handoff meetings to ensure quality requirements are clearly communicated.

Engineering Quality Assurance

• Collaborate with engineering teams to strengthen design quality processes and controls.
• Support design review programs and multidisciplinary quality checks.
• Assist in developing standards for engineering document control, reviews, approvals, and change management.
• Monitor quality performance metrics associated with engineering deliverables.
• Help identify opportunities to improve design efficiency, constructability, and reliability.

Project Quality Support

• Provide guidance to project teams regarding quality requirements, inspection planning, and documentation.
• Support development of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality control plans, and turnover packages.
• Assist projects with quality issue resolution, corrective actions, and root cause analyses.
• Promote consistency in quality practices across all PRE projects.
• Support field quality teams as needed during critical project milestones.

Auditing & Continuous Improvement

• Participate in internal audits and quality assessments.
• Assist with quality management system evaluations and compliance reviews.
• Track quality metrics and identify trends requiring corrective action.
• Support implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions.
• Contribute to lessons learned programs and organizational knowledge sharing.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
• Participate in client meetings involving quality requirements and performance expectations.
• Support supplier and subcontractor quality initiatives.
• Assist with quality presentations, reports, and executive communications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, Business, or a related field required.

Experience

• 7-10+ years of quality management experience within EPC, construction, energy, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure environments.
• Experience supporting engineering, design, or pre-construction functions.
• Experience developing and implementing quality management systems and quality processes.
• Familiarity with utility-scale renewable energy projects, power generation, transmission, or large construction programs.
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with engineering and project execution teams.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g., clean-shaven, long sleeves, steel-toe boots).

Must pass a physical exam if required.

Ability to:

• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces (e.g., towers, vessels, excavations)
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (use assistance for heavier loads)
• Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel)
• Wear a respirator and other PPE as required

Work Location

• Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops

Environmental Conditions

Predominantly outdoor work with exposure to:

PAY EQUITY

$170,000 - $180,000

Primoris Renewable Energy provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. Primoris Renewable Energy reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
