We’re looking for a passionate and collaborative bilingual (English + Spanish) copywriter to join our creative team. You will work alongside our Creative Directors, Art Directors and Digital Content teams to create award-winning digital initiatives for integrated campaigns and social media. The ideal candidate believes in the power of words and is obsessed with tinkering until the message connects seamlessly and emotionally. Your writing style is adaptable and flexible and can reach a wide swath of audiences. As a digitally centered agency, we move at the speed of social, and you’ll need to be detail-oriented and have the ability to track and integrate feedback, with minimal oversight. 

Our bilingual copywriter should be capable of writing grammatically correct and authentically voiced Spanglish, Spanglish and English. We’d love someone who identifies as Latino to take this position and bring their personal POV and voice to our work in the brand’s voice.

This is a full-time in-person role based in Huntington Beach, CA.

Job Description

  • Be fluent in English and Spanish 
  • Deliver efficient engaging copy that drives engagement. 
  • Develop taglines and pithy articulations of campaign ideas.
  • Be accountable for balancing product messaging, of-the-moment trends and seasonal messaging in concise social copy and captions. 
  • Develop scripts and concepts for social posts that tap into social trends, in brand tone.
  • Collaborate on decks and presentations for pitch ideas.
  • Establish brand tones that act as a red thread throughout touchpoints.
  • Contribute ideas that can work across multiple media channels.
  • Have a pulse on social trends and themes.
  • Be a great collaborator that isn't afraid to rework concepts to make them stronger.   
  • Be a good problem solver turning a brand challenge into an opportunity.
  • Manage multiple projects and hit deadlines accordingly.
  • Track work and edits efficiently, and independently.
  • Have a passion for words and the craft of narrative.
  • Have the capacity to nimbly jump from brand voice to brand voice
  • Adapt your writing style to fit different audience needs platform-to-platform.
  • Demonstrate a good range of writing styles to adapt to a variety of brands.
  • Take direction and be flexible to change direction when needed.
  • Manage delivery of copy in an organized, clear way for all parties necessary. 

Qualifications

Qualifications, Distinguishing Characteristics and Special Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a creative copywriter
  • Creative agency experience
  • Up-to-date on the latest social media trends and functionality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Keynote & Google Suite

Additional Information

* Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 salary range
