The Coordinator, Communications will be responsible for the collection and dissemination of relevant clips to the network's internal database, as well as issuing FOX Sports press materials and announcements externally to the media. This person will play a significant role in maintaining/updating the network’s press website, which houses bios for on-air talent and executives as well as programming announcements, scheduling, talent announcements, and general press releases. They keep press and key influencer distribution lists up to date. Additionally, they pitch in on a variety of PR events. They also handle payment of invoices and work with the team on budgets.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Send press coverage reports daily
- Maintain press database
- Create press recap decks in PowerPoint/Canva
- Contribute innovative and creative ideas to department brainstorms
- Assist the PR team with the design of press plans
- Create itineraries for talent press events
- Handle department Invoices
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Understanding of the sports landscape, passion for sports media, and brand communications
- Strong experience with PowerPoint, Canva, and Excel
- Strong organization skills
- Resourcefulness
- Proactive approach and willingness to pitch in when needed on team projects and events
- Professional demeanor

- BA or BS in Communications, Sports Management, and/or Journalism

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $25.75-31.25 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
