A company in the food manufacturing/distribution space is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning. This role oversees the accounting team and supports executive leadership with analysis, forecasting, and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Oversee accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and provide business insights
  • Manage cash flow, risk, and investment strategies
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Build financial models and support strategic decision-making
  • Supervise and develop the accounting team

Qualifications

  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience required)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
