A company in the food manufacturing/distribution space is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning. This role oversees the accounting team and supports executive leadership with analysis, forecasting, and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Oversee accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and provide business insights
- Manage cash flow, risk, and investment strategies
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Build financial models and support strategic decision-making
- Supervise and develop the accounting team
Qualifications
- CPA required
- 5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience required)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems and financial analysis tools
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
