What you'll do:
Lead a full cycle accounting close
- Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements
- Able to analyze financial reports and communicate results to founders
- Act as the point of contact for external auditors and tax preparers
- Oversee all bookkeeping, reconciliations, accrual journal entries
- Accounts Receivable (invoicing, collections)
- Accounts Payable (processing bills, set up vendors)
- Payroll (set-up, processing, and benefits)
- Purchase order, inventory, and warehouse management
- Experience accounting for inventory and COGS (bill of materials, inventory assemblies, cost accounting)
- Proficiency in three-statement financial modeling
- Able to build cash and accrual-based forecasts
- Accounting ERPs (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)
- Expense management (Expensify, Ramp, Concur, Bill)
- Billing (Ramp, Bill)
- Payroll (Gusto, JustWorks, Trinet, ADP)
- Sales platforms (Shopify, Amazon FBA)

- W9/1099 and W8/1042 implementation and execution
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
- Concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 10+ years of applicable experience in tech, CPG, and life science industries
- Big 4 or national and regional accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting theory, principles and practices
- CPA preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills
