Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Controller with strong ERP experience to lead all accounting and financial operations for a cosmetics OEM/ODM manufacturing company. This role will focus heavily on cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting within an ERP-driven environment.
The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background and is experienced in leveraging ERP systems to improve financial visibility, operational efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
- Oversee all accounting functions including GL, AR/AP, payroll, and financial reporting
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes within ERP systems
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Lead cost accounting processes including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
- Maintain and optimize ERP system usage for accounting, inventory, and reporting functions
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to ensure accurate cost tracking
- Analyze manufacturing costs including labor, materials, and overhead
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Strengthen internal controls and support audits
- Improve reporting processes and automate workflows using ERP capabilities
- Support pricing strategies with accurate cost data
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred
- 10+ years of accounting experience, with strong manufacturing background
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Experience with GAAP and audit processes
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capability
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in cosmetics, personal care, or OEM/ODM manufacturing
- Experience with system implementations or ERP optimization
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-location environments
