The Opportunity...
Centerfield is seeking an entry to junior-level Web Content Publisher to join our Web Operations team where you’ll work to bridge the technical and business worlds. Our team is passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We work on highly collaborative teams (Design, Technology & Digital, etc.) to support our internal websites. As a Web Content Publisher, you will be responsible for executing solutions and implementing requirements from our Content team. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills and who wants to grow their career with a rapidly growing company!
How You'll Contribute...
- Work within WordPress & HTML to code links, format text, tables, and lists, etc.
- Select templates, components and modules, adding/editing content (copy, images, video, etc.) to compose web pages based on brand guidelines and stakeholder input
- Secure deliverable assets + requirements and manage assets within internal websites functionality
- Prepare, upload, and maintain content on our portfolio of sites, check published pieces for errors and troubleshoot minor site errors
- Curate a strong understanding of website goals and objectives and business goals for each division
- Quality assurance and website launch procedures, help troubleshoot website errors and content issues
- Identify and understand business priorities for internal communication and recommend solutions for achieving goals
- Create timelines and coordinate web product and content release schedules
- Execute content updates for internal digital channels, including scheduling, adding, modifying, and removing content
- Establish best practices and develop guidelines for implementing a sustainable, agile content distribution plan, including ongoing audits
- Facilitate the procurement of content from various department project leads
- Resize and formats graphics and documents as needed for multiple responsive environments
- Apply search engine optimization (SEO) techniques
What We're Looking For...
- Ability to work as an integral part of a team to develop great relationships and work with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with the WordPress or other CMS
- Basic image skills (renaming, resizing, cropping, and uploading)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Previous experience in WordPress or other content management systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate confidently and effectively
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical team members about site issues and resolution
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly responsive, strong attention to detail
- Solid problem-solving skills: ability to work independently and adapt to changing project needs
- Self-motivated, takes initiative and is dedicated to driving success
