Convoso is a leader in the contact center software industry. We are looking for an  experienced videographer and video editor to join our marketing team. But if we’re honest with ourselves, we’re looking for a unicorn. We hope that’s you.

Here’s what a good fit looks like for our team: Someone who understands the impact of visual storytelling, looks for a challenge, enjoys collaborating on projects, finds organization to be second nature [or close], has some experience with video marketing, and seeks the opportunity of career growth. And, yes, brings the skills and experience to set up and shoot basic footage [interviews, B roll, etc], as well as to edit that into dynamic content. The ideal candidate will also have motion graphics and animation skills.

As the company’s first Video Specialist you will report to the Marketing Communications Manager to develop and execute all things video. This will involve collaborating with members of the marketing team for design, digital marketing, sales support, product marketing, event marketing, content marketing, and HR. 

This position offers the potential for growth as our demand for motion and video content continues to expand. 

What You Will Do

  • Build out equipment inventory [work with Tech Director]
  • Set up lighting, sound, set for interviews and shoot the video
  • Help coordinate and conduct Zoom-style interviews and webinars
  • Create promo videos for upcoming events
  • Create trailers/highlight vids for webinars, ebooks, conferences, etc
  • Collaborate with team to develop high impact impact ads with motion graphics and/or short vid clips
  • Organize, Optimize, and Brand Convoso’s YouTube channel
  • Inventory all existing videos, categorize and maintain an organized library/catalog as resource
  • Collaborate with Marcom/Digital/Product/Events to develop planned video content and calendar
  • Collaborate with Designer on branding and style
  • Output appropriate sizes/formats for social media 
  • Collaborate with [possibly lead project] agency for animated explainer and/or company brand video
  • Research interactive engagement possibilities

  • knowledge /experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects)
  • Los Angeles based [Can travel to the office in Woodland Hills, CA - hybrid negotiable]
