Summary

Grindr is looking for a Video Producer to join the team and help lead the company into a video-driven content market that helps tell a larger story about the company and its properties, including its digital magazine, INTO. The ideal candidate has producing, editing and media management experience, is eager to grow as a video producer in a burgeoning content studio, and is highly interested in branded content. Fluency in Adobe Premiere is a must, and proficiency in After Effects or in motion graphics work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Video Editor and Video Producer Team to create video content
• Work closely with external vendors to manage overflow projects, including: imparting creative vision, providing editing feedback, and managing project timelines
• Work with the team to improve the quality of our video output and streamline our production processes
• Supervise shoots; post files for review; and collect, distill and distribute feedback

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience producing digital content
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud including but not limited to: Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Ability to recognize and create content that people will want to share
• Motion Graphics Design and Animation experience a HUGE plus
• Ability to sound mix is a plus
• Ability to color correct
• Can shoot on Sony and Canon cameras
• Strong attention to detail
• Task-oriented and deadline focused
• Client friendly
• Willing to learn new skills quickly
• Amenable to regular feedback and review
• A strong interest in digital media and technology
• Interest in Grindr’s brands and passions
