About the Role
We are looking for a talented Senior Copywriter with a passion for words and ideas grounded in strategic thinking to join our creative team. You love the art of copywriting and the craft of brand building. You know how to tell stories, on any platform, that drives engagement and understand the language nuances that reach a variety of audiences. You thrive on the challenge of transforming complex subjects into clear compelling stories. The ideal candidate works fast, is able to quickly discern the needs of a project, and can tackle a creative brief or concept write-up and turn them into inspired ideas and smart systems.
What you’ll do:
- Work with a team of creatives to craft the best idea possible for the job at hand - whether that be campaign-level thinking or tactical executions.
- Brainstorm engaging and cut-through ideas and copy across a variety of media (print, direct mail, OOH, kits and packaging, videos, digital content, etc) that drives business results and supports key marketing initiatives.
- Maintain the GoodRx voice and values - always putting the consumer first.
- Collaborate with a design partner (or on your own) and take ideas from rough thoughts to clear, concise, finished ads.
- Set the bar high on creative and get there fast without sacrificing quality for speed and effectiveness.
- Strategize what content works best and develop different messaging for different audiences. Be able to tell the same story and benefits in dozens of different ways.
- Able to present ideas strategically and quickly digest and incorporate feedback. Understand media channel objectives and goals to ensure content is engaging and effective.
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer’s mindsets, attitudes, & behaviors to inform strong creative development.
What we’re looking for:
- 6+ years of strong copywriting and campaign developing experience at a leading creative agency or client-side direct-to-consumer creative team, with an emphasis on strong headlines and copy
- An online portfolio that shows a proven track record of producing a variety of engaging campaigns for big brands
- Have a love for language, thinks strategically and takes pride in understanding the consumer and what motivates them to act
- A growth mindset with a healthy mix of imagination and business acumen
- Driven by details. You’re meticulous, thorough, and enjoy being extra-precise
- An exceptional multitasker. You’re quick, organized, and you work with a sense of urgency
- Have strong bias for action and curiosity to dig several layers deep into success metrics, have an innate desire to understand key drivers.
- Can collaborate with team members at all levels to ensure projects are consistent with DM best practices, brand guidelines, compliance and overall project goals
