Position Overview:
The Creative Content Lead will play a lead role in storytelling at Reformation. They will work to develop creative campaigns and messaging, bringing our products, mission and sustainability initiatives to life on a global scale across owned, earned and paid marketing channels. This highly creative and detail-oriented position requires strong communication skills and will work closely with many different teams, as well as external partners. They will be responsible for translating global marketing strategies into creative concepts and executions consistent with the brand’s standards, as well as both evolving and keeping our unique tone of voice consistent across all channels.
What You’ll Do:
- Concept and develop messaging, narratives and campaigns around our brand, products, mission and sustainability initiatives
- Create consistent, compelling stories across various platforms and mediums including, but not limited to, social media, site, stores and press
- Oversee written editorial content, ensuring brand messaging is engaging, entertaining and aligned with our values
- Oversee all copy-related projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead creative/briefing sessions cross-departmentally to clarify business needs and deliver key messages
- Lead the training and development of relevant team members, including delivering guidance and clear direction, problem solving and people management
- Manage relationships with internal & external partners, writers & contributors
What You’ll Need:
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- 8+ years experience in content strategy, writing and creative storytelling type roles of increasing scope, complexity and leadership responsibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A sharp sense of humor and a witty voice
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to be hands-on
- A deep curiosity and a desire to challenge conventional wisdom
- A digital-first mindset and in-depth understanding of the modern media landscape
- The ability to create outstanding work in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment
- The ability to think strategically and problem solve creatively. Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on tight deadlines
- A strong desire to continually bring creative and cultural innovation to the process
- Ability to inspire and manage teams and collaborate effectively
- A strong work ethic and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, with limited supervision and under tight timeframes
- A passion for the Reformation brand, products and sustainability mission
