We’re looking for a Content Strategist who is obsessed with social media and loves creating videos for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. The Content Strategist will focus on creation and production of content for The Black Tux organic social channels. This is a remote role, with a preference to hire near one of our fulfillment or retail locations (LA, NYC, Chicago, Dallas).

What You'll Do

• Own social content strategy from conception through execution for all channels including Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube. 
• Develop high-impact social media assets that can be used across The Black Tux social accounts that align with the company’s brand and key performance priorities.
• Shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality short-form vertical video assets for TikTok on a regular and frequent cadence.
• Work with the Creative Director to build a cohesive social media aesthetic and persona that is unique to The Black Tux.
• Partner with the marketing team to translate the company editorial calendar into channel-specific organic strategies to drive engagement and growth.
• Collaborate internally to ideate and co-create original content for social channels that aligns with core business initiatives.

Who You Are

• You have a deep understanding of the social media landscape, emerging content formats and best practices across all platforms, specifically Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
• You are familiar with multiple photo and video editing tools. You have a track record of creating consistent, compelling, high-quality content. Please send us your social accounts you've created or driven growth for and/or your portfolio.
• You are in tune with Millennial and Gen-Z culture and eager to create content that appeals to these audiences.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Production, Communications, or a related field.

The Content Strategist role is remote.

The base salary for this position will be between $95,000 - $130,000, but the actual compensation may vary based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and location. The Black Tux defines compensation plans using market data aligned with comparable companies at a similar stage and size as ours.

This position also qualifies incentive based compensation which may include a performance based bonus and/or incentive stock options. The Black Tux also offers unlimited PTO on top of generous company holidays, including a winter break at the end of each year.
