What You Can Expect

In this role, you will own the systems, processes, and platforms that power Zoom's content engine from end to end, directly shaping how content is planned, produced, and published across channels and campaigns. Working closely with the Head of Future of Work Insights and Content, you will serve as the operational backbone of the content organization, removing friction and creating clarity at every stage of the content lifecycle. Day to day, you will manage content traffic, oversee publishing workflows, and lead the implementation and optimization of our content management platform. This is a role for someone who finds genuine satisfaction in making complex systems run smoothly and who brings both rigor and curiosity to building scalable content operations.

About the Team

The Future of Work Insights and Content team shapes how Zoom shows up in the market through the stories we tell and the content we create. We sit at the intersection of brand, strategy, and execution, partnering across Marketing, Online, and product-focused pods to deliver content that drives awareness and business growth. Our work directly supports Zoom's mission of enhancing human connection by making sure the right content reaches the right audiences at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Define and operationalize the end-to-end content engine, establishing processes, tools, and resourcing frameworks that improve speed, quality, and output at scale.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of the content management platform, including governance, taxonomy, workflows, and best practices across the full content lifecycle.
  • Drive content traffic management across all initiatives, ensuring clear timelines, ownership, approvals, and cross-functional alignment with consistent visibility into production status and delivery.
  • Manage day-to-day content publishing execution within the CMS, standardizing workflows, templates, and checklists to improve consistency and reduce errors.
  • Support program management for major content initiatives, coordinating timelines, stakeholders, deliverables, and production across complex, multi-phase programs.
  • Operationalize the SEO and AEO content process, coordinating workflows between Marketing and Online to align on priorities, content opportunities, and publishing requirements.
  • Leverage AI tools and agents to automate repetitive tasks, create efficiencies, and continuously elevate the performance of the content operation.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in content operations, marketing operations, or program management within a fast-paced marketing or technology environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimize content workflows, processes, and governance frameworks from the ground up.
  • Hands-on experience with content management platforms and CMS tools; experience with Optimizely is a plus.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and complex timelines.
  • Familiarity with SEO and AEO principles and how they integrate into content planning and publishing workflows.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools or automation to drive operational efficiencies in a content or marketing context.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create clarity, align teams, and influence without authority across Marketing, Online, and pod-based teams.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
