We transform financial complexity into a strategic advantage, helping businesses operate with confidence, compliance, and clarity. We aim to be the global standard for enterprise digital asset finance, powering the future with automation, security, and transparency. With audit-ready integrations across today's leading blockchains, exchanges, and ERPs, Bitwave bridges the gap between blockchain technology and enterprise finance.

We are looking for a talented Product Marketing / Content Marketing Manager with experience in fintech product marketing, crypto/blockchain/web3 finance space to help lead our content engine into its next phase. This will include soup-to-nuts creation of content marketing pieces, including whitepapers with infographics, product marketing one-pagers, sales slide decks, blog posts, and social media content.

Our new Product Marketing / Content Marketing Manager will need to be comfortable working cross-functionally with product managers and product teams, sales teams, and CPAs/accountants to create content for a target audience of CFOs, Chief Accounting Officers, and controllers and finance professionals.

About the Role:

This role will sit at the center of our marketing efforts, creating and managing content that fuels our product marketing, sales enablement, social media, and demand generation. It will also support our product positioning and documentation, as well as drive discoverability across emerging AI and search surfaces.

As a small company (less than 50 employees), this role requires a degree of flexibility in your day-to-day responsibilities, a high degree of organization, and the ability to be self-directed. We’re looking for someone who loves translating complex fintech and accounting topics into clear, valuable, engaging content — and who’s ready to experiment with new forms of content distribution, from SEO to LLM optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute Bitwave’s product marketing strategy, including product documentation, sales whitepapers, solution landing pages, and other product marketing pieces.
  • Own and execute Bitwave’s content strategy, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, emails, landing pages, and more.
  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality content across multiple channels (web, email, BitwaveU, social), including written content and graphics.
  • Create professional graphics, including social media graphics, sales enablement pieces such as slide decks, and infographics.
  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar, aligning with campaigns, product launches, and partner initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, product, leadership) and external freelancers or agencies to scale content production.
  • Lead our AI-driven content discoverability efforts, including crafting content optimized for LLM-based search and summarization (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.)
  • Repurpose content for various formats: video, social snippets, email nurtures, or in-platform use.
  • Support partner marketing efforts by creating co-branded content, webinar follow-ups, and promotional materials.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of content marketing experience in one of more of the following areas: Fintech, crypto, blockchain, accounting or enterprise SaaS software
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills — able to simplify complex technical topics into more easily understood material
  • A good eye for design and basic graphic design skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage an editorial calendar and work across teams, and to pivot when necessary
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, content analytics, and web publishing
  • Experience using Webflow, Adobe suite, Hubspot, WordPress, Google Search Console, basic HTML, Zoom, and other similar tools
  • Passion for or curiosity about AI-driven search/discoverability, with a willingness to experiment and stay current

Recommended skills:

  • Experience working with freelancers or agencies
  • Prior exposure to creating educational content or working within CPE-based learning platforms
  • Comfort producing short-form video or social content (even if not the primary focus)
  • Prior understanding of Bitwave’s ICPs — finance, operations and accounting teams at large enterprises

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
