The Content Creator supports the Creative Team in developing and producing visually compelling content across all brand channels, including e-commerce, marketplace, social, digital marketing, website, email, and other customer-facing touchpoints. Working closely with the Production and Creative Team, this role contributes to the production of photography, video, and other visual content. The role requires a strong visual perspective, an understanding of current trends and evolving aesthetics, and the ability to translate relevant trends into content that is fresh, engaging, and aligned with established brand standards.


This role centers on nail products and nail-focused content and the ideal candidate has a genuine interest in nails and nail products. They are also comfortable demonstrating products on their own hands when needed, including applying nail products or tips and participating in hands-in-frame photography and video.


This is a hands-on creative role for someone who enjoys creating content, staying current with visual culture, and finding fresh ways to showcase products across multiple channels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Creative Team, Photographer, and Videographer in the development and production of content across brand channels.
  • Create and produce visual content for e-commerce, marketplace, social media, digital marketing, website, email, and other customer-facing channels.
  • Create original photo and video content using mobile devices, cameras, and other appropriate production tools.
  • Participate in photo and video productions, including assisting with set preparation, product styling, props, shot execution, and production support.
  • Apply and demonstrate nail products or tips on their own hands when required for content creation, including hands-in-frame photography and video.
  • Help develop creative concepts, mood boards, shot lists, visual references, and other production materials.
  • Edit photography, video, graphics, and other visual assets for different channels and placements.
  • Create content variations and adaptations based on channel requirements, campaign needs, and established creative direction.
  • Monitor current visual, cultural, and social trends, including emerging aesthetics, content formats, creators, and platform behaviors.
  • Identify relevant trends and contribute ideas for how they can be thoughtfully adapted to the brand.
  • Ensure trend-informed content remains consistent with the brand's established visual identity and creative standards.
  • Assist with both planned/evergreen content and timely content opportunities.
  • Research relevant brands, creators, competitors, and visual trends to inform creative development.
  • Organize and maintain photography, video, and other creative assets in accordance with established digital asset management workflows, including proper file naming conventions, tagging, and categorization.
  • Manage assigned deliverables and independently meet project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and task tracking in Asana or other designated project management tools.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience creating visual content, including photography, video, graphics, or a combination of these.
  • Strong visual sense and understanding of composition, styling, color, lighting, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong awareness of current visual trends, social aesthetics, digital culture, and emerging content formats.
  • Ability to adapt trends and references to an established brand identity.
  • Genuine interest in nails and nail products, with willingness to learn and engage with the category.
  • Ability and willingness to apply and demonstrate nail products or tips on their own hands as part of assigned content production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong proficiency creating photo and video content using smartphones and mobile-first creative tools.
  • Familiarity with tools and editing applications commonly used for contemporary social and digital content creation, such as CapCut and similar platforms.
  • Ability to create content that feels native to current digital and social aesthetics while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently, and meet established deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to receive, process, and constructively incorporate creative feedback.
  • Experience organizing and maintaining digital asset libraries (e.g., DAM systems, shared drives, or databases) using consistent naming conventions, metadata, and tagging practices.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, with the ability to keep task status and timelines current.
