Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Benefits Analyst, Financials to join our Global Benefits team.

In this role, you will be a vital contributor to the financial health, governance, and operational strategy of our global benefits programs. Reporting to the Director, Financials & Performance, you will drive data-backed global strategies, oversee multinational risk-financing mechanisms, and act as a bridge between regional leadership, FP&A, and executive teams across a highly matrixed organization.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Drive Financial Governance & Reporting: Build and maintain the global financial foundation for end-to-end benefit tracking. Develop robust processes for budget-to-actual variance reporting, forecasting, and expense monitoring.
  • Manage Captive & Multinational Pooling: Oversee financial management, performance analysis, and optimization of global multinational pooling networks and captive financing arrangements to maximize underwriting dividends and risk-financing efficiencies.
  • Develop Global KPIs & Track Performance: Design, implement, and track key global benefits KPIs (e.g., cost-per-employee, trend vs. benchmark, plan utilization, broker delivery targets) to evaluate program performance and guide executive decisions.
  • Lead Strategic Projects & Business Cases: Lead complex international benefits initiatives across multiple countries, ensuring local compliance and global alignment. Design high-impact recommendation decks and compelling business cases for the Global Benefits Governance Committee.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner seamlessly with regional International Benefits leads, FP&A, Legal, HR, and senior leadership to integrate regional inputs into overall global oversight.
  • Support Broker Strategy & Ad-Hoc Analytics: Track global broker financial savings to optimize service delivery, and execute high-priority financial models, M&A integration analyses, and strategic projects as needed.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in corporate benefits, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), benefits broker consulting, or global benefits management within a complex, global matrixed organization.
  • Deep Expertise in Global Financing Mechanics: Comprehensive understanding of global benefits programs and risk-financing structures, including multinational pooling arrangements, captive reinsurers, and global stop-loss mechanisms.
  • Advanced Financial & Analytical Acumen: Strong proficiency in financial modeling cost forecasting, and translating complex utilization data into concise, actionable executive insights.
  • Executive Presentation Skills: Proven record of accomplishment of designing visually impactful, logically sound slide decks and decision memos for executive leadership and governance committees.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management: Proven ability to lead multi-country initiatives from inception to completion while effectively balancing regional nuances with corporate strategy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets (data modeling, complex formulas) and PowerPoint / Google Slides, alongside working knowledge of HRIS and global benefits platforms (e.g., Workday).
