A Little More About This Role

We’re looking for a Configuration Analyst to join our configuration team. As Gravie continues its member-centric approach to healthcare, we need an analyst to support the building and maintenance of benefit categories, health plans, and adjudication logic that power our health plans. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in claims configuration and health plan administration.

You Will:

  • Analyze benefit plan documents to accurately build benefit categories and adjudication rules for claims processing

  • Review member accumulators and assist in loading benefit logic to member and group records

  • Review and evaluate claims and benefit issues and interpret plan policies

  • Utilize multiple applications to fulfill job functions across the configuration team

  • Support cross-functional teams during implementations and renewals

  • Demonstrate commitment to our core competencies of being authentic, curious, creative, empathetic, and outcome oriented. 

  • Manage daily configuration inventory queues

  • Complete audits for group and plan builds

  • Monitor and respond to team mailboxes 

You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in claims processing, benefit configuration, or related healthcare operations

  • Knowledge/experience with level-funded plan designs

  • Understanding of benefit plans, accumulators, and basic adjudication concepts

  • Ability to set priorities, manage time, and work independently

  • Demonstrated success getting results through collaboration

  • Knowledge/experience with level-funded plan designs

Extra Credit:

  • Familiarity with claims processing systems, particularly Javelina

  • Understanding of CPT/HCPCS coding systems and claim payment logic

  • Previous startup company experience

The hourly range for this position is $24/hour - $32/hour. Numerous factors including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. will be considered when determining compensation.
