We are seeking a self-starting Community Manager to serve in the Altadena, CA area to represent Villa to individuals who are rebuilding their homes after the Eaton Fire. As the face of Villa in Altadena, you will manage initial touchpoints and build relationships with potential customers, build community relationships at local events, and oversee the launch, tours and daily operations of Villa’s Altadena Showcase Home. Ideal candidates are high-energy, customer-first individuals with experience in sales, local marketing, and events who are eager to help a community rebuild. This is a dual role, as you will represent Villa in Altadena while also supporting Villa’s existing ADU business by selling ADUs to homeowners across the state.
This position is open to candidates based in Altadena or within a 20 mile radius of Altadena.What You'll Do:
- Represent Villa in / near Altadena at a variety of local rebuilding events, town hall, and community gatherings to build brand trust and awareness.
- Act as the subject matter expert on Villa - our value proposition, process, products, and design elements.
- Provide consultation to customers to evaluate project feasibility and cost, and guide prospective clients through the initial decision-making process.
- Work closely with Villa’s Account Executives to ensure a first-class customer experience throughout the customer’s journey with Villa.
- Manage every aspect of the Altadena Villa Showcase Home, including the tour experience, lead capture, events, and site maintenance.
- Generate interest in Villa as a solution through community engagement, local partnerships, and proactive research and outreach for potential clients.
- Partner with Villa’s marketing team on creative ways to drive interest in Villa across the Altadena community through our events and local campaigns.
- Utilize Salesforce to diligently track leads, tour reports, and KPIs; ensure consistent follow-up to manage customers through the pipeline.
- Celebrate with our customers by participating in onsite milestones like delivery day and move-in day of their new home.
- Join local internal Villa meetings and customer site visits as needed.
- Manage the entire direct-to-consumer sale and design process, from initial lead intake and qualification through deposit and final contract.
- Provide expert consultation to customers to evaluate project feasibility and cost, utilizing industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam to build initial site plans.
- Partner seamlessly with Product, Project Management, Construction Management and BizOps teams to align on feasibility, timelines, and customer expectations, ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to execution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to homeowners, utilizing a deep understanding of our product to actively listen to their needs and guide them toward the best ADU solution for their property.
- Diligently update Salesforce with correct information, maintain full knowledge of the target prospect base, and report KPIs to sales leadership.

What You Have:
- 3-5+ years of sales, real estate, or local marketing experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills; you enjoy interacting with people in a variety of settings and have experience drafting clear communications that demonstrate attention to detail.
- You have a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience in a friendly, professional manner.
- High emotional intelligence - you can navigate sensitive conversations with homeowners who have lost their homes or been displaced, and be a trusted guide in their rebuilding next steps.
- A track record of personal accountability, and a high standard of integrity and professionalism. You’ve demonstrated resilience and a desire to succeed in the face of new and/or unforeseen challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.
- Team player with a strong desire to help improve internal processes.
- A desire to learn, grow and get in on the ground floor of a company that is changing the housing industry.
- Background in homebuilding, real estate or construction sales is a bonus.
- You are able to be in-person in Altadena, CA and the surrounding areas on a daily basis, including weekends (e.g., for community events, model home tours).
