Job Responsibilities :

The Community Content Specialist is a junior role that is for the social media savvy and for a marketing creative that possesses a great eye for content, especially for short form videos. This role works closely with the Community and Influencer teams, and is responsible for supporting relevant marketing teams to support the overall content strategy. This includes ideating and creating/filming/producing social media content, with an emphasis on short-form video that will drive engagement for Razer’s handles, such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Ceating short-form social media content that supports overall social and engagement plans. 
  • Create, film, and edit short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. 
  • Support the production of longer-form video content, livestreams, event coverage, and other video requirements where needed. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date social content and production calendar, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support timely delivery. 
  • Support the publishing and day-to-day management of Razer’s social channels, including routine moderation, community engagement, and channel housekeeping. 
  • Monitor social content performance and assist with regular reporting to identify content trends, audience insights, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Coordinate with global Marketing teams on social content requirements for campaigns, product launches, events, and other initiatives. 
  • Perform ad-hoc department administrative duties as required. 

 

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in video content creation, production, or a related field. 
  • 1 year of social media management experience. 
  • Hands-on experience filming and editing video content for social media. 
  • Good understanding of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including common short-form content formats and best practices. 
  • Good understanding of social media trends, online engagement, and digital content. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Familiarity with social media management, analytics, and content calendaring tools. 
  • Ability to work effectively with teams across different regions, time zones, and cultures. 
  • Strong interest in gaming, with good knowledge of gaming culture and the wider gaming industry. 

 

Education & Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in Film/Video/Television Production, Communications, Marketing or Digital Media or equivalent work experience.  

Pre-Requisites :

Salary Ranges:

$50,700.00 - $84,500.00 (per annum)
