Job Summary

 As a Community Association Manager, you are responsible for managing the daily operations of assigned communities, including HOAs and condominium associations. You work closely with the Board of Directors, homeowners, vendors, and internal teams to keep the community running smoothly. 


Full-Time Position Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation: $30.00/hr 

Requirements

Essential Job Functions – Position Requirements

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned communities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Board of Directors and homeowners.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial reports.
  • Review and approve invoices and monitor expenses.
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs, maintenance, and other services.
  • Respond to homeowner questions, concerns, and complaints.
  • Help resolve homeowner and community issues.
  • Enforce community rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Schedule and coordinate Board and community meetings, both onsite and virtually.
  • Prepare meeting notices, agendas, and Board meeting packets.
  • Track Board action items and follow up on outstanding tasks.
  • Obtain bids from vendors and present options to the Board.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, accountants, insurance providers, reserve analysts, and other professionals as needed.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on maintenance and safety concerns.
  • Oversee homeowner violation notices and track violations through resolution.
  • Assist with escrow requests, including lender certification forms.
  • Work with onsite staff when applicable, including training, supervision, and scheduling.
  • Assist with hiring onsite staff when needed.
  • Review and approve staff timecards when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate updates to the Board, homeowners, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous HOA, community association, or property management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with homeowners, Board members, vendors, and contractors.
  • Knowledge of California HOA/community association requirements is a plus.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Ability to attend occasional evening Board or community meetings.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property inspections.
