The Communications Specialist will assist in producing a wide and diverse range of daily, monthly, and quarterly financial marketing materials, and lend support for webcasts, conferences, events and client meetings. This individual will work closely with a variety of members of the Investor Services team and cross departmentally to deliver accurate and timely material while ensuring content, layout, and design conforms to the company’s brand, tone, and style while adhering to compliance, legal and industry rules and regulations.


Job Functions

  • Create, edit, and update marketing materials including, but not limited to, fact sheets, commentaries, articles, and sales and client presentations.
  • Liaise between various departments to ensure deliverables are moved through the creation, updating, and editing processes while ensuring quality, accuracy, and branding.
  • Collaborate with various departments and contractors to produce webcasts, video content, and support DoubleLine’s social media initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal and external compliance teams to ensure conformity to SEC, FINRA, and industry rules and regulations for marketing material.
  • Ad hoc and special requests, which may occur outside of standard working hours.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5-7 years of prior work experience in Finance or a finance-related profession is preferred.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Seismic software is a plus.
  • General understanding of FINRA and SEC Rules and regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet project deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to produce highly accurate and error-free product.
  • Strong communication, time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively within a team

Base Salary Range

The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 – $95,000. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
