About you

The Communications Specialist is responsible for the technical execution of various communications initiatives, supporting the Communications Manager and Director in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Responsibilities include working with internet-based platforms to build emails, update the intranet, create sophisticated PowerPoint presentations, manage the content calendar, and track team initiatives. A key part of the role is strong writing and editing skills to ensure clarity and accuracy in all communications. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn about company communications and contribute to a wide range of projects.

In this role, you will…

  • Build and design email communications, ensuring accuracy, visual appeal, and consistency with company branding.

  • Update and maintain the company intranet with timely and relevant content, ensuring that all information is current and easy to navigate.

  • Create and refine PowerPoint presentations and reports, developing sophisticated and engaging slide decks for internal and external use.

  • Manage and maintain the communications content calendar, ensuring alignment with key deadlines are met across the team.

  • Track team initiatives, keeping accurate records and progress updates on communication projects and activities.

  • Write, edit, and proofread internal and external communications, ensuring all content is clear, concise, and aligned with the company’s messaging standards.

  • Assist the Communications Manager and Director with ad-hoc projects and initiatives, providing technical support in executing communications strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and effective delivery of communication initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Corporate Communications role.

  • Commercial Real Estate experience is required

  • Content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and presentation tools experience is required.

  • Project Management software experience is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.

  • Proficiency in building and designing emails, updating intranet content, and creating PowerPoint presentations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, some Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Area/Location Specific: USA Wide (Remote)

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $65,475.00 to $85.000.00 USD

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.

Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days vacation annually.  Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off.  Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year.  Twelve weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable state law.
