Provide administrative and project coordination for church communications: manage intake, track timelines, update website and app content, gather assets from ministry leaders, and support the Communications Director with operational and basic creative tasks to ensure projects complete on time and aligned with ministry goals.
Shadow Mountain Community Church is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Communications Coordinator position within the Communications Department. This role provides administrative, organizational, and coordination support for communication projects and digital platforms, including the church website and mobile app. The Communications Coordinator works closely with the Director of Communications to help ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with ministry goals—allowing the Director to focus on creative and strategic leadership.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented ministry environment with a servant’s heart.
Primary Duties
- Assist with intake, organization, and coordination of communication projects
- Help track project timelines and priorities
- Maintain and update website and app content
- Coordinate with ministry leaders and collaborators to gather information and assets
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Communications Department
- Assist with basic creative and content-related tasks as needed
- Servant heart, team player, great customer/client service, and positive attitude
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Minimum Education: College preferred but not required
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working with digital tools and content platforms
- Willingness to learn new systems and workflows
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
