What You'll Do
- Utilize commission tracking software and systems to accurately calculate commissions based on predefined commission structures.
- Collaborate with sales management to validate sales data and ensure accurate commission calculations.
- Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.
- Provide analytical support for sales quota attainment, performance metrics, sales compensation, and headcount planning. Develop reports and analysis to identify sales performance trends, payment accuracy, compensation inequities and incentive program effectiveness.
- Prepare, calculate, forecast and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual commission statements for the sales organization.
- Assist in the development and refinement of commission plans to align with company goals and objectives.
- Implement reporting, controls, and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency of administration of variable compensation
- Provide monthly reporting to the Finance, Sales and HR leadership on sales team performance and resulting compensation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline commission processes and enhance efficiency through automation and optimization.
- Configure and administer incentive compensation plans and reporting in Coalfire’s ICM (currently CaptivateIQ)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations and Finance, to implement process improvements and ensure data integrity throughout the commission calculation process.
- Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing commission payments.
- Prepare and update commission-related documentation, including commission plans, policies, exceptions and employee agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines regarding commission calculations and payments.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance or analytical related role, preferably in SaaS, Consulting or Professional Service industries.
- Experience with building and administering sales compensation programs.
- Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred), sales commission management software.
- Analytic, modeling, reporting and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail (MS office including excel, Tableau, Snowflake).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
