In this role, you will:
- Lead post-close servicing and portfolio management activities for moderately complex to complex commercial loans, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and service-level expectations.
- Analyze, validate, and maintain loan, collateral, covenant, and customer data within systems of record to support operational accuracy and risk management.
- Partner with Credit, Sales, Operations, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure documentation, negotiated terms, and servicing activities align with business and compliance requirements.
- Identify, assess, and escalate credit, operational, servicing, and documentation risks; recommend solutions and drive resolution of complex issues.
- Serve as a key escalation point, delivering clear communication and executing effective problem resolution to support client and business needs.
- Monitor quality and performance metrics, identify process improvement opportunities, and contribute to operational efficiency and control enhancements.
- Exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making while adhering to governance standards, risk management principles, and established procedures.
- Champion consistent execution of the Portfolio Execution operating model, supporting the adoption of new processes, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively across teams to achieve business objectives, drive accountability, and deliver high-quality results
- 2+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience with commercial loan documentation, closing, servicing, or portfolio management activities.
- Knowledge of commercial lending products, loan documentation, credit structures, and related servicing processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems, applications, and research tools to analyze information and resolve issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience or familiarity with Wells Fargo servicing and credit platforms, including AFS, LoanIQ, and nCino.
