Offit Kurman, an Am Law 200 firm is seeking a senior commercial litigation attorney with substantial first-chair trial experience to join and help grow its Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

• Serve as first chair in commercial litigation matters through trial
• Handle complex business disputes in state and federal court
• Lead hearings, dispositive motions, discovery strategy, and trial preparation
• Manage high-exposure and heavily contested matters
• Supervise and mentor associates
• Contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s California litigation practice

Qualifications:

• Significant first-chair trial experience in commercial litigation
• Demonstrated courtroom experience in state and/or federal courts
• Strong motion practice and case management skills
• Experience handling complex business disputes
• Ability to independently manage matters from inception through resolution

Salary expected to be in the $230K-$260K range.
