This position is in our downtown San Antonio office and offers a hybrid schedule (3 days office; 2 days remote) after an initial onboarding period.
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Team Leader for our Commercial Lines account management team, focusing on clients in the non-profit/social services arena. As a Team Lead you are responsible for motivating, coaching, and encouraging employees. By your leadership, the goals, purpose, and vision for the employees will be brought into focus and executed by your ability to collaborate and build relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead a team (account manager, assistant account manager, and support specialist), coaching team members to achieve performance standards and goals, develop professionally, and manage workload and workflows

Manage your own book of business, providing day-to-day service and renewal insurance needs for a select group of clients.

Provide a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates talent.

Maintain necessary relationship with employees to ensure quality service standards are met.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred (4-year degree)
-
3+ years of relevant leadership experience
-
5+ years of demonstrating a strong account management background in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance
-
Experience in customer service/client facing role required
-
P&C License required
-
Experience in a Broker Management System - Epic and ImageRight preferred

Proficiency using Microsoft Suite
