About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Overview of the Role:
As an Account Executive on the Partner Cloud team, you will drive revenue growth for companies that rely on indirect sales channels — helping them optimize partner ecosystems through Salesforce's Partner Relationship Management (PRM), PRM+, and Channel Revenue Management (ChRM) solutions. You will build trusted relationships with C-Suite decision makers and channel sales leaders, and become a go-to resource for customers looking to grow through their partner networks.
Applications for this position will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note some positions may be office-based, office-flexible, or remote depending on the team.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders — including heads of Channel Sales, Chief Revenue Officers (CROs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), and Rebate/Incentive Managers — to drive customer satisfaction and long-term account growth.
  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned to customers' channel revenue goals, coordinating with internal Salesforce specialists to deliver the right solutions.
  • Generate pipeline through whitespace prospecting and warm leads, focusing on companies that sell through resellers, distributors, managed service providers, dealers, and independent brokers or agents.
  • Share Salesforce's value proposition for channel revenue management, including partner lifecycle management, automated rebate management, and real-time partner collaboration.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow complex accounts with multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of channel sales processes, partner programs, and incentive structures.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling into companies with indirect sales channels such as resellers, distributors, or dealers.
  • Experience selling CRM, PRM, or channel management solutions.
  • Familiarity with inventory, pricing, and incentive challenges in indirect sales channels.
  • Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
